Bigtown Homes, formerly known as Big Town Real Estate, was started by me, Richard Evanns, a commercial litigation attorney with many cases under my belt, and an experienced real estate investor, with one goal only: Providing clients with the level of real estate services that I wish I had from the start, but never did. Things like knowing landlord-tenant laws and short-term rental and BnB regulations, knowing how to add value with various techniques like permitting extra space or ADUs, knowing how to get concessions when buying a home or selling a home through creative dealmaking, calculating actual investment returns – these are just a few real estate sales and investment tactics that I was interested in.
Unfortunately, I had to figure all of this out myself, because nobody, including the agents who sold me properties, ever seemed to have the answers. Real Estate clients of Bigtown Homes do not have this problem. When you hire us, you will get years of research or data, real investment experience, and real answers to your real estate questions, both legal and practical, from a person who was born and raised here in LA, and who has lived in, invested in, and operated businesses (es) in most neighborhoods in Los Angeles. I am experienced in both the acquisitions, operations, and law surrounding short-term rentals, mid-term rentals, and long-term rental properties in Los Angeles and surrounding markets, from Joshua Tree to Yosemite.
